1st International Conference on Language Gap and Digital Competence

Registration procedure

Those interested in participating in the 1st International Conference on Language Gap and Digital Competence: Challenges for the 21st Century, will be able to register by following the procedure described below.

Step 1: Payment

Make the payment for the registration fee.

 

Please do not forget to indicate your first and last name on the payment.

To ensure the correct processing of your registration, please send the total amount of your registration fee for International Money Transfers (International Payments). Money-transfer charges must be paid by the sender (Participant on the Conference). We cannot confirm any registration without the reception of the full fee.

For those participants who have restrictions by their country on the transfer of funds to another country, you are welcome to contact the Conference Organizing Committee to register and discuss the possibility of on-site payment.

Important note

It is mandatory to send the payment receipt through the Registration Form in order to verify the correct receipt of the payment and formalize your registration. We cannot confirm any registration without the receipt of payment.

Step 2: Registration Form

Fill the Registration Form available below this section.

 

Participants who need an invoice corresponding to the payment of registration fees must indicate it through the Registration Form. The invoice will be delivered together with the certificates during the Conference.

Please do not forget to attach the Proof of Payment of the participation fee as well as any additional documentation required through the Registration Form.

Once the reception of the payment has been confirmed, a member of the Organising Committee will send you an email to confirm that the process has been completed correctly.

University students (Degree and Postgraduate), and professors and members of Andalusian universities and research institutes, can register at reduced rate. In these cases, they need to justify their affiliation by submitting, along with proof of payment, a copy of their tuition fees of the academic year (students) or their institutional ID card scanned (professors and researchers).

Please observe the following guidelines


  • Participants in Symposia or those who present papers must be registered within a maximum period of 15 days once the abstract of their presentation is accepted. You can check the dates by the ‘Deadlines’ section of this website.

  • The coordinator of symposia does not need to pay for their registration; however, it is compulsory that all the rest of participants in the Symposia are registered.

Guest Symposia

Every symposium will host between 4 and 6 communications each plus a debate. Their design will be purposefully focused on the development of a common topic.

There is one session allocated in the Conference Programme to present videoconferences which will also be available on the Conference website; they  will be organized  into the Conference thematic areas.
